The Kabale University Guild Media Team is a committee of the Kabale University Student Guild responsible for managing the guild’s media and communication channels. The committee is made up of a team of students who have a passion for media and communication.

The following is an overview of the different roles and responsibilities of the Kabale University Guild Media Team committee members:

  1. Guild Media Chairperson: The guild media coordinator is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the media team. This includes managing the team’s budget, organizing and chairing team meetings, and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives.
  2. Social Media Manager: The social media manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the guild’s social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn. They must ensure that the content posted on these platforms aligns with the guild’s objectives and is engaging for its followers.
  3. Website Administrator: The website Administrator is responsible for developing and maintaining the guild’s website. They ensure that the website is up-to-date and user-friendly, and that it includes all relevant information about the guild’s activities.
  4. Secretary: The secretary is responsible for keeping accurate records of all committee meetings, including minutes, action items, and decisions made. She ensures that these records are well-organized and easily accessible to all members. More so, the secretary is responsible for communication, administrative support, coordination and documentation by maintaining a central repository of all relevant documentation, such as the committee’s charter, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. They must ensure that these documents are updated regularly and easily accessible to all committee members.
  5. News Reporter: A news reporter is responsible for gathering and reporting on news related to the activities of the student guild. The news reporter plays a critical role in keeping the student body informed about the activities and achievements of the student guild by gathering and reporting on news stories accurately and quickly, and write engaging stories that capture the attention of their audience.
  6. Publicity: A publicity person is typically responsible for managing and promoting the organization’s public image and messaging. Specifically, He is involved in creating and implementing publicity strategies, managing media relations, developing and distributing press releases and other media materials, organizing public events and speaking engagements, and monitoring media coverage to ensure that the organization is portrayed positively in the media.
  7. Graphics Designer: The graphics designer creates visual content that helps to support the organization’s messaging and brand identity. This could include designing graphics for social media posts, creating visual assets for the organization’s website or other digital platforms, designing flyers, brochures, or other print materials, and creating visual aids for presentations or events. He plays an important role in helping to create a consistent and visually appealing brand image for the KAB Guild.
  8. Editor: The editor typically reviews and edits all content created by the media team before it is published or shared with the public. This includes written content such as blog posts, articles, and press releases, as well as visual content like graphics and videos.

Overall, the Kabale University Guild Media Team is a critical component of the student guild, responsible for promoting the guild’s objectives and ensuring effective communication with its members and followers.
