Kabale University student, Kyamashaija Christopher, has been elected the Speaker of Uganda Bachelor’s Nursing and Midwives Association . This association is an Umbrella for all Bachelor of Nurses and Midwives that advocates for the rights of Nurses and Midwives in Uganda. Christopher, is a Third-year Student of Bachelor of Nursing Science .Currently, he is the GRC nursing and anaesthesia, Deputy speaker 7th guild parliament And legal advisor of different associations including Association of nursing students at Kabale University and patriotism club at kabale University.
Christopher says the opportunity will help him improve his leadership skills . He further says that he is ready to serve Nurses and Midwives in Uganda through advocating for their rights, and that he will use the opportunity to pass the knowledge he acquires to the students in his faculty and beyond.
